nurserySeveral modules of Nursery Skills workshops were held as part of the Forestry Training Project. A one-day seminar on Nursery Worker Safety Regulations was taught by David T. Ikeda, an instructor at the Hawai’i Community College.

Also a one-day Nursery Skills class, taught by Nicklos Dudley of the Hawai’i Agriculture Research Center, was offered, covering seed sowing, tray sanitation, shading, watering, fertilizing, weeding, sorting and packing seedlings for sale.
