NALU BUILDS was founded on the premise of creating beautifully hand crafted furniture on the Island of Hawaii using sustainably sourced woods, local woods. Our goal was to utilize the many natural woods of  the island and craft them into beautiful works of practical art that would last for generations. This is furniture that you can enjoy and pass down to your children and grandchildren.

Inspired by the tropical furnishings of his youth in Hawaii as well as his love of mid-century modern design, owner and lead designer Kevin Coons has created a contemporary tropical aesthetic that continues to grow in popularity.

NALU CREATIVE is a boutique, creative development agency headquartered on Hawai’i Island that brings together an internationally renowned group of industry professionals to create remarkable live and digital content, events, tours, meetings and attractions that have measurable results.
