5 class session $160 class fee + $30 supply fee

Hui Kako‘o O Laupahoehoe is offering woodshop classes to the community Saturday mornings starting Aug 3 to Sept.7, 2024 at Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School. Master woodworker Paul Schurch as instructor, assisted by Peter or Jordan Ziroli.
Attendees will learn woodworking basics and machine safety on the first day and will sharpen their skills in a series of five more 4-hour Saturday classes. All skill levels are welcome. Attendees will benefit from experienced instructors as they assist them in building a project of their choice. Build anything from a cutting board, turning a bowl, a table or cabinet; or finish a project from a previous class.
Laupahoehoe Wood Shop is fully stocked with fine woodworking tools and equipment. The next series of five classes starts Aug 3, 2024. Cost for the series is $160 + $30 supply fee. Prior students and experienced woodworkers may do drop in classes for $45 per class. The class is limited to 10 students. You must register and pay online here:
